Kitty! April 29, 2009

Grau has become my second kitty pal in the last week! Today he was playing with my toy phone cord--I was playing with him. Mommy thought things got too quiet . . . She popped around the corner just in time to see me with a handful & MOUTHFUL of fur I pulled off Grau! It looked like I was eating cotton candy! Yuck!

My Grandma Titi's flight got delayed this afternoon. It's just as well, because I napped a long time! Stocking up for a big day with her! I love to get in the corner of my crib with my blankie.

April 14 & 15, 2009

I went to see our Fertility doctor yesterday. She's so very nice! Everyone was happy to see a cutie like me! I enjoyed the giant candy jar--pretty colors, yummy smells!

I've been standing up a lot. I grab the furniture & pull up. Then I cruise while hanging on. Then I work to sit back down. Makes me giggle a lot that I can do it!

Thoughts on Eggs & Chocolate!

My first Easter! My first egg hunt! I think eggs from the fridge are cold--don't like holding them. My basket, books and new bunny are fun! Mommy gave me a foil covered chocolate bunny to hold. She underestimated the one tooth I have--chocolate is strange!

Eggs are very strange! I didn't care much for yolk--but I cried & ate! Happy Easter!

Two nights ago . . .

No this isn't extreme close-up--it's me up from my nap two days ago. I tried to undress myself! Later that night I woke up wet. I called Mommy & Papa. Well, Papa could NOT hold me on the changing table--I wiggle SO! I got loose on the floor in my Emperor's New Clothes and scoot danced around! Such a sight!!!

We went to the arboretum yesterday! I am usually the star of my website, but I want another star to stand out on my post today. My Cousin Emily was in town--I learned so much playing with her! She is beautiful, smart, patient, caring & fun! Aunt Amy isn't too bad either--enjoyed their brief visit!

You've seen the Texas bluebonnets above. Here I am soaring above Easter tulips!

Too much too soon?

Three days have passed since I had my last good afternoon nap. You can't keep a good baby down--even if you rock me for an hour or play to tire me out! Well, I overdid it! I finally fell asleep in the middle of my 6pm dinner today! My reason's for staying awake are outlined below.

You see, yesterday was a fantastic day in 3 ways! I pulled myself to standing! I also mastered walking across a room on just my hands and feet (no knees)! I even drank a full ounce, by myself, from my sippy cup! Saturday & today I went shopping with the parents--I just have to see everything! I had all this going on--so why sleep?! I was too excited! Still am! Zzzzzzzzzz

I seem to always be doing something new lately. Today I stood with assistance beside our coffee table for many minutes--my personal best! Thanks to Papa for standing me up! Wednesday, March 25, I got my first tooth! No pictures of that yet.

Here I am . . . caught again--this time I learned how to go under my excersaucer.
