June 10, 2011 The Zoo
Mr. R: Well, we went to the El Paso Zoo today--our first zoo visit. I really didn't like most of the animals--kinda scary. Miss K loved so many of them--lions, turtles, elephants. I did stop walking long enough to ask to get the African Sand Cat out of it's habitat.
June 8, 2011 Road Trip
Mr. R: We spent all day in the car going to Grandma Titi's house. I held Miss K's hand, because it's her first road trip. Big brothers always show little sisters the ropes.
June 7, 2011 Baskethead or Egghead?
Miss K: Two nights ago I started counting 1 to 10 out loud--pretty correct too! Then last night I tried to say my alphabet--got more than a handful right, in order, up to M. Amazing, since I never really tried to say any of those numbers or letters before. Today I wore a basket on my head--it's my time to celebrate!

May 22, 2011 Time-Out
Mr. R: I'm not in the picture. I was sent to time-out for pushing (see the timer in Miss K's hand). We played more anyway--I slid books under the door . . . we laughed & laughed.
